The Marsoft & ClimeCo GreenScreen program for carbon credits reached a significant milestone this week, with its formal listing by the Gold Standard. You can see the listing here. Proceeds from the first issuances and sales of carbon credits under our methodology will be delivered to shipowners before the end of 2023. GreenScreen provides a new and significant incentive for shipowners to invest in retrofits that reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
Our clients, leading owners committed to fast-track decarbonization strategies, have enrolled 55 ships in the program. We expect to deliver 350,000 tonnes of CO2 emissions reduction in the next five years.
